Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of the iWA platform. Our goal is to ensure a secure, reliable, and high-quality environment for all users while maintaining compliance with our carrier partners and Meta's WhatsApp business policies.

By using iWA, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the iWA platform to engage in, facilitate, or promote any of the following activities:

A. Illegal & Harmful Content

• Transmitting content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or fraudulent.
• Promoting violence, terrorism, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.
• Distributing malware, viruses, trojans, or any other malicious code.
• Selling illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons, or unauthorized adult content.

B. Spam & Unsolicited Messaging

• Sending unsolicited bulk messages ("spam") or mass broadcasting without explicit user consent (opt-in).
• Purchasing, renting, or scraping contact lists from third parties.
• Failing to provide a clear, functional opt-out mechanism for recipients.
• Attempting to bypass WhatsApp's messaging templates or rate limits through fraudulent means.

C. System Abuse

• Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the iWA infrastructure or network.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the platform's code.
• Using the platform to conduct Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
• Exceeding reasonable API rate limits or engaging in activities that disrupt the platform for other tenants.

3. AI Agent Ethics

When utilizing iWA's AI employees and automation agents, you must:

• Ensure the AI does not impersonate a human without disclosing its automated nature when required by local law.
• Not program the AI to give certified medical, legal, or financial advice unless you are legally authorized to do so.
• Monitor your AI's outputs to ensure they do not hallucinate harmful instructions or violate this AUP.

4. Enforcement & Suspension

We actively monitor the platform for abuse. If we detect a violation of this AUP, we reserve the right to:

• Immediately suspend or terminate your API access and account.
• Block specific WhatsApp numbers or IP addresses associated with the violation.
• Report severe violations (such as child exploitation or terrorism) to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

If you encounter a user violating this policy, or if you receive spam from an iWA-powered WhatsApp number, please report it immediately:
